I have been trying (with no success) to find a new presser foot for my sewing machine. If anyone has a good source for Elna feet let me know! Apparantly the older machines that were made in Switzerland require a different type of foot than the newer, Japanese made models. I have purchased 4 feet (2 of them specifiaclly for Elna machines from Elna dealers) and the needle hits every one of them!

  1. Hi Staci, this is your Elna twin in Milano. You and I need to ask the ELNA head office in Switzerland which current feet are compatible, as our machines are so old. I needed an invisible zipper foot, asked ELNA in Switzerland, and they looked up the correct product number for a current foot. It turned out to be a JANOME foot. It fit perfectly. So I suggest that you do the same before getting into buying any more feet! Ciao, Kyoko

  2. Thanks Kyoko! I did send an e-mail to customer service, so hopefully I will hear back from them soon. Keeping my fingers crossed!

  3. Well, I haven't found a new one yet, but my hubby took one of the ones that didn't fit and the machinist drilled it out to make it fit and it worked! Yay!
