Frustration!
I have been trying (with no success) to find a new presser foot for my sewing machine. If anyone has a good source for Elna feet let me know! Apparantly the older machines that were made in Switzerland require a different type of foot than the newer, Japanese made models. I have purchased 4 feet (2 of them specifiaclly for Elna machines from Elna dealers) and the needle hits every one of them!

Hi Staci, this is your Elna twin in Milano. You and I need to ask the ELNA head office in Switzerland which current feet are compatible, as our machines are so old. I needed an invisible zipper foot, asked ELNA in Switzerland, and they looked up the correct product number for a current foot. It turned out to be a JANOME foot. It fit perfectly. So I suggest that you do the same before getting into buying any more feet! Ciao, Kyoko

ReplyDeleteWell, I haven't found a new one yet, but my hubby took one of the ones that didn't fit and the machinist drilled it out to make it fit and it worked! Yay!
