Necklace organization at last!

I have tried many different types of necklace racks, both store bought and DIY and never found anything that really worked for me.  Yesterday I couldn't stand the tangled mess any longer and tried one more time.  I found a board I purchased months ago at the dollar store and some cup hooks that have been hanging around waiting to be put to use.  A little white spray paint and a few minutes with my cricut later I have a fantabulous new necklace display!  I think I finally found something that works for me.  Now to figure out what to do with my bracelets and rings...

Come over and check out the other great projects:

  2. That's lovely! It looks really professional. I've been sorting out necklace organisation this year too, though I used a massive picture frame and door handles!
It's a relief to turn a tangled mess of necklaces into a nice, organised, accessible selection, isn't it!

  3. I've been making a lot more necklaces lately, so I definitely need to try something like this!

(I don't wear rings, but I've heard that using an empty egg carton works really well to organize them.)

  4. This is such a good idea. My lovely husband just bought me a very nice jewelry box that I love. But, as most jewelry boxes are, it's too small for my big chunky necklaces. This is such a better solution than getting them knotted in the tin I have them in now.

  5. Hi Staci,

Cute organizer ~ it does work better than other types. I made a similar one recently (http://gratefulprayerthankfulheart.blogspot.com/2011/05/necklacejewelry-organizer.html)

I notice you are from central NY. One of my daughters lives near Rome with her family. Is that near you?

Nice stopping by to visit with you! Kindly, Lorraine
